About our home


Apartment 1 Kathmandu has been owned by our family for over 30 years and has undergone major renovations to ensure it is comfortable and hospitable for guests. It is located in the picturesque village of Falls Creek, 5 hours drive from Melbourne in the northeast gourmet region of Victoria. In the summer months of December and January, the highplains are perfect for hiking, cycling, swimming and trout fishing. You can take marked walking tracks to discover the historic cattlemen's huts, look for wild brumby horses and learn about the famous Bogong Moths, after which the alpine park was named.Falls Creek is one of Australia's premier skiing destinations, with a ski season lasting from June through to September. The apartment offers ski-in, ski-out access, and is located in the heart of the village. It is easily accessible by car, bus or domestic flights into the regional city of Albury. With family based in Australia to assist you, this is an ideal way to discover a beautiful part of Australia.
